We meet our family around some pictures to share the memories, trying to know as much as possible about ourselves – we are always at the center of our own history. It is a valuable experience to exchange thoughts on this subject not only within the family, but also in the company of other people. Creating a community culture in the context of social memory is extremely important, especially now – in times of various changes that we all witness.

Certainly there are some people among us who deal with the topic of their family archives and who also reflect on different photographic aspects. In this type of work, we sometimes ask ourselves various questions – those that are directly related to the taking care of archival materials, but also these ones that deal with the symbolism of family history represented in the photographs.
