1001 WORLDS

13/01/2017

Photography represents many worlds – the past, present and future as well as the true and false ones. In each of these worlds, photographs are not a reproduction of reality but they always symbolize individual reasoning and feeling the world. Especially in creative photography there is no boundary between what is authentic and what is fictitious. Everything is similarly what really exists here and now as well as what exists in pretence in the mind. Both of these worlds merge in the artist himself.

This is not an ordinary photography exhibition. This is the attempt to interpret what the photography is for me. And it is not an independent entity – it is only a part of some wholeness. As the photographer fond of exceeding frame limits, I think that while creating staged photography not only does the final result matter but also the process during which special settings, costumes and objects are being created… It is them that play the most important roles in this performance. Each of these thousand elements is the separate world with its own history and their complete collection constitute one world, my own, which, on the one hand, is associated with a fairy-tale fiction and, on the other hand, is the most faithful reality.
